Hi, I’m David Diep, the photographer behind That’s The Shot, a Melbourne-based wedding and portrait photography studio focused on capturing natural, emotional and timeless images.
I specialise in candid wedding photography, documenting genuine moments as they unfold rather than relying on stiff poses or staged scenes. My goal is to tell the story of your day in a relaxed and authentic way — from the quiet moments before the ceremony to the energy and celebration on the dance floor.
Based in Melbourne, I photograph weddings, elopements and portraits across Victoria including the Yarra Valley, Dandenong Ranges, Mornington Peninsula and surrounding regions. Each location offers its own unique backdrop, and I love incorporating natural landscapes, beautiful light and meaningful locations into every shoot.
